Key Responsibilities:

• Transport passengers or goods safely and responsibly in an auto, taxi, van, or bike.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely arrivals and deliveries.
• Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle, performing basic checks such as fuel, oil, tire pressure, and brakes before each shift.
• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently, ensuring the correct handling of parcels or cargo.
• Use navigation tools, maps, or GPS to avoid delays and optimize routes.
• Collect payments or delivery confirmations and provide receipts if required.
• Adhere to all traffic regulations and safety standards to ensure a secure driving environment.
• Communicate with dispatchers or supervisors regarding delivery updates or any issues encountered on the road.
• Perform minor vehicle repairs or maintenance if necessary and report major vehicle issues to the maintenance team.

Requirements:

• Minimum educational qualification: 10th pass or equivalent.
• Valid driving license for the relevant vehicle type (Auto/Taxi/Van/Bike).
• Proven experience as a driver, preferably in the delivery or passenger transportation sector.
• Good knowledge of local roads, traffic patterns, and driving regulations.
• Ability to operate GPS systems or follow verbal/written directions.
• Excellent time-management skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Physically fit, able to handle loading and unloading of goods (for delivery drivers).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Work Environment:

• May involve long driving hours, with shifts that can include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Exposure to various weather conditions (for bike or outdoor delivery jobs).
• Handling of goods may require physical effort, including lifting and carrying.
